Who We Are & What We Do

Culm Valley u3a is run by members for members, all in a voluntary capacity. Members help set up and clear away meetings and events, host interest groups, drive members who need transport to meetings, and sit on the Executive Committee.

Our committee manages all aspects of Culm Valley u3a, including setting up and managing Interest Groups, organising events and speakers, and helping members get the most benefit from everything we do.

We hold a members meeting at 2pm on the FIRST THURSDAY of the month (except January). At these friendly, warm and enjoyable meetings we usually have a visiting speaker, and each one introduces us to completely different topics and subjects. From Local history to music and singing, and studying in the Antarctic to the Illegal immigrants in your Garden! There is also time to socialise and chat, visit the many Interest Group tables and enjoy a cup of something! Please contact us for more information.
